What is ANTRIX ?

Antrix Corporation Limited (ACL) is the commercial and marketing arm of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) [t1][t4]. Incorporated in September 1992, it is a wholly-owned Government of India company under the administrative control of the Department of Space [t1][t8]. Antrix serves as a single-window agency for the promotion and commercial exploitation of space products, technical consultancy services, and the transfer of technologies developed by ISRO [t1][t3]. Its primary business activities include providing launch services for international customers using vehicles like the PSLV, provisioning communication satellite transponders, and marketing remote sensing data [t1][t4][t6]. By acting as a one-stop-shop for space-related products and services, Antrix facilitates the development of space-related industrial capabilities in India and manages all commercial activities related to Indian space technology [t3][t8].
