The Internal Security Academy (ISA) is located at Mount Abu in Rajasthan [1]. It was established on February 1, 1975, following the relocation of the Central Police Training College to Hyderabad. The academy is a premier training institution under the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which is one of the largest paramilitary forces globally. Situated at an altitude of approximately 1,220 meters, Mount Abu is historically referred to as the 'Hill of Wisdom' [1]. The ISA provides specialized training in internal security, counter-insurgency, and counter-terrorism operations. While it primarily serves CRPF officers, its curriculum has expanded to include personnel from the State Police, Armed Forces, and administrative officials to address evolving national security challenges. Other major security institutions like the National Police Academy are located in Hyderabad.
