The ‘eye’ of the cyclone has :

The 'eye' of a tropical cyclone is its central region, characterized by the lowest barometric pressure at the surface [3]. This area is uniquely defined by calm conditions, light winds, and clear or scattered skies [3]. A defining thermodynamic feature of the eye is its abnormally high temperature compared to the surrounding storm environment [3]. This 'warm core' is primarily caused by the slow subsidence (sinking) of air from the upper atmosphere [4]. As this air descends, it undergoes adiabatic compressional warming [4]. While the temperature difference is most pronounced at high altitudes (up to 10°C warmer at 12 km), the eye remains warmer than its surroundings at all levels, including the surface [4]. Consequently, the eye is a zone of minimum pressure and maximum temperature within the cyclonic system.
