Which one of the following is not correct about the Panchayats as laid down in Part IX of the Constitution of India?

According to Article 243C of the Constitution, the Chairperson of a Panchayat and other members, whether elected directly or indirectly, shall have the right to vote in the meetings of the Panchayats [3]. Therefore, direct election is not a prerequisite for the Chairperson to exercise voting rights. Regarding other options, the State Legislature is empowered to provide for the reservation of the office of Chairperson for SCs, STs, and women [2]. Article 243E mandates that every Panchayat, unless dissolved earlier under any law for the time being in force, shall continue for five years from the date appointed for its first meeting. Furthermore, Article 243J stipulates that the Legislature of a State may, by law, make provisions with respect to the maintenance of accounts and the auditing of such accounts of the Panchayats.
