Prahaar' is

Prahaar is a solid-fuelled, surface-to-surface guided short-range tactical ballistic missile developed by India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It is specifically designed to provide the Indian Army with an all-weather, quick-reaction, and highly accurate battlefield support system for tactical strikes against close-range targets. With a range of approximately 150 km, it fills the critical gap between the Pinaka multi-barrel rocket system and the longer-range Prithvi missiles. The system is road-mobile, launched from a Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) vehicle, and can carry a payload of 200 kg [1]. It is intended to replace the older liquid-fuelled Prithvi-I missile due to its superior maneuvering capabilities, faster deployment time, and greater acceleration.
