When did the Union Government establish a separate 'Ministry of Cooperation' with the vision of "Sahkar Se Samriddhi" ?

The Ministry of Cooperation was officially established by the Government of India on July 6, 2021. It was created to provide a dedicated administrative, legal, and policy framework to strengthen the cooperative movement in India, fulfilling the vision of 'Sahkar Se Samriddhi' (Prosperity through Cooperation). Prior to its creation, cooperative affairs were handled by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. Amit Shah was appointed as the first Union Minister of this separate ministry.
