Which among the following is not a language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India ?

The Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution currently lists 22 languages [4]. Initially, 14 languages were included in 1950. Subsequent amendments expanded this list: Sindhi was added in 1967; Manipuri, Nepali, and Konkani were included via the 71st Amendment in 1992; and Dogri, Bodo, Maithili, and Santhali were added by the 92nd Amendment in 2003 (effective 2004). While Manipuri [1], Nepali [2], and Dogri [1] are officially recognized scheduled languages, Gondi is not. Gondi is currently among the 38 languages for which there are active demands for inclusion in the Eighth Schedule, alongside others like Bhojpuri and Rajasthani. Therefore, Gondi is the language not listed in the Eighth Schedule.
