Which one of the following languages was added to the Eighth Schedule by a Constitutional Amendment in 1967?

The Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution originally enumerated 14 languages [5]. In 1967, the Constitution (Twenty-first Amendment) Act was enacted to include Sindhi as the 15th language in the schedule [2]. This amendment followed persistent demands from Sindhi-speaking people and a recommendation from the Commissioner for Linguistic Minorities [2]. While languages like Kashmiri and Urdu were part of the original 14 languages included in 1950, Sindhi was the first language to be added through a constitutional amendment [7]. Subsequent amendments, such as the 71st Amendment in 1992 and the 92nd Amendment in 2003, further expanded the list to the current 22 languages [6]. Khasi is currently not included in the Eighth Schedule [6].
