Article 368 of the Constitution of India deals with

Article 368, located in Part XX of the Indian Constitution, specifically deals with the power of Parliament to amend the Constitution and the procedure for doing so. It establishes that Parliament may, in the exercise of its constituent power, amend any provision of the Constitution by way of addition, variation, or repeal [1]. While the 24th Amendment Act of 1971 clarified that Article 368 contains both the 'power' and the 'procedure' for amendment, the Supreme Court has established that this power is not absolute and cannot alter the 'basic structure' of the Constitution [1]. Other options refer to different parts of the Constitution: financial emergency is under Article 360, reservation for SC/ST in Lok Sabha is under Article 330, and the Official Language of the Union is governed by Article 343.
