Key regions include the American South (Gulf type), East Asia (China type), and Coastal South Africa (Natal type) [2]. It is also prevalent along the East coast of Australia and South Japan [2]. However, South Argentina (specifically the southern part of the country) does not experience this climate. While the northern and central-eastern parts of Argentina (Pampas) exhibit Cfa characteristics, South Argentina (Patagonia) is dominated by arid, semi-arid, or cold temperate climates due to the rain shadow effect of the Andes and higher latitudes [3]. Therefore, South Argentina is the region where Humid Subtropical climate is NOT experienced.
