Clockwise rotation for a cyclone only occurs in the Southern Hemisphere [t2][t6]. In the Northern Hemisphere, clockwise rotation is characteristic of an anticyclone, which is a high-pressure system [t4][t7]. Therefore, only the first statement regarding the low-pressure nature of a cyclone is accurate.
