Cartilage is NOT found in

Cartilage is a flexible connective tissue found in various parts of the human body to provide structural support and flexibility. Hyaline cartilage is found in the nose and respiratory passages like the trachea [1][5]. Elastic cartilage, which contains abundant elastin fibers, is primarily located in the external ear (pinna) and the larynx [1]. In contrast, the urinary bladder is a muscular organ designed for storage and expansion [1][4]. Its wall is composed of smooth muscle (detrusor muscle) and lined with a specialized stretchable tissue called transitional epithelium, rather than cartilage [1]. While rings of cartilage ensure that air passages in the throat do not collapse, the urinary bladder relies on its muscular nature under nervous control to manage urine storage and voiding [2][4]. Therefore, cartilage is not a structural component of the urinary bladder.
